      <title>Genetica 3.0 Open Beta Begins</title>
      <description>Spiral Graphics has opened the beta test of Genetica 3.0 to the public. Genetica 3.0 is the highly anticipated new version of Spiral Graphics' seamless texture, HDRI, and animation editor.

Open beta testers will be downloading the Studio edition of Genetica. In addition to the other features, Genetica 3.0 Studio offers powerful animation capability for the creation of texture and effect animations. Animations will automatically loop and be seamlessly repeatable.

Spiral Graphics is currently offering significant savings through an Early Bird Discount for artists who purchase Genetica 3.0 before the end of its open beta.       <description>San Mateo-based Luxology has announced Modo 302, the most recent version of its 3D content creation software, which adds new natural lighting capabilities, additional layered Photoshop file support, an animation Track View, new modeling tools and other enhancements.
